Indium tin oxide (ITO)

Indium tin oxide is typically encountered as an oxygen-saturated composition of In2O3 and 5~10% SnO2 by weight.

Chemical formula:In2O3 + 10% SnO2→(In0.9Sn0.1)2O3

ITO film has the following charateristics:
1. Low resistivity 10-4~10-5Ω-㎝
2. High visible light transmittance up to 90%
3. Patternable by acid etching
4. Chemical stability
5. Weather-resistant 

Therefore, ITO is the most widely used transparent conducting oxide (TCO) material in electronic, optical and optoelectronic devices such as transparent heating elements, antistatic films, electromagnetic wave protective films.
